This is the code by which Paul has operated for the past 25 years in which he has been a principal in private practice. Paul spent 13 years working in the public sectors in project management roles prior to entering public accounting in 1986. He is expert in all aspects of public accounting …from business structuring, solving complex income and capital gains tax issues, to advising on business management and planning matters.
A leader in the accounting and advisory field, Paul’s unique ability to plan the future in your environment makes him an essential business asset.
Among his interests Paul lists sailing, motor racing (V8 Supercars), golf (poorly), tennis (a bit better) and supporting the Collingwood footy club.
Senior Accountant
Kit joined our practice in December 2000 while completing her final accounting exams to become a fully fledged CPA. Kit’s previous background was import/export, having worked with a textile traders prior to joining PR Accountants. In her years with us, Kit has developed particular skills in taxation law and its application and is also our leading superannuation expert.
Kit is a dedicated professional who is always improving her knowledge and abilities through constant study and attendance at tax meetings and seminars. She lists her interests as computers and gaming, drawing and reading.
Senior Accountant
Heidi joined Think Accountants Pty Ltd in August 1999 from another practice in Richmond. Initially employed for her skills in the corporate area. She graduated from a Bachelor of Science and subsequently completed a Master of Accounting course to further her career within the practice. Heidi now prepares everything from Business Activity Statements, financial reports and tax returns for individuals, companies, Trusts and superannuation funds. Heidi looks after a range of clients who regard her very highly and is of invaluable assistance on a whole range of practice matters and administration.
Heidi has comprehensive knowledge of most of the major accounting programmes, such as MYOB, XERO and Cash Flow Manager.
Heidi lists among her interests, badminton, table tennis, movies, travel and meeting people.
Bookkeeper
Brenda has been in the bookkeeping industry for over 25 years with experience in various types of businesses. She has completed her Certificate IV in Financial Services (Bookkeeping) and is currently studying towards her Diploma of Accounting. Brenda enjoys playing with numbers and thrives on work that is challenging and pushes her to her limits. Brenda is our in-house MYOB and Xero expert.
Brenda is happily married and has two grown-up children. For fun she enjoys the movies, a good book and dinner with loved ones and friends. Her favourite holiday location is the South Pacific because of the warm climate.
Receptionist/Office manager
Rebecca joined the team in 2013 and is a very important member of our team in reception where she is “Director of First Impressions”. She manages the day to day operation of the practice and is responsible for answering all phone calls, filling, drafting correspondence, maintaining the client database, liaising with the ATO, collection agencies and manages all our ASIC lodgements. She was instrumental in the re-development of our website and has built strong personal relationships with several of our clients.
Her prior employment was at the Australian Taxation Office as a Customer Service and Solutions Officer. Where she handled account enquiries and providing tax advice over the phone. Her positive, can-do attitude and bubbly personality make her a great fit for Think Accountants Pty Ltd.
Outside of work she enjoys walks with her dog, yoga and spending time with friends and family over good food.
